Barcelona-based label Desigual is renowned for its vibrant prints, casual style, and free-spirited attitude. In March 2019, Matthias was appointed Creative Consultant by founder and Creative Director Thomas Meyer, where he worked on designs, prints, and trend forecasting for the brand from Fall 2019 through Winter 2022.

The objective was to refresh the brand’s heritage and appeal to a younger demographic, all while preserving the core Desigual aesthetic and maintaining the loyalty of its longstanding clientele.
