As Head of Design Licensing, Matthias Schatz was in charge of Courrèges’ wrtw collection in Japan from 2013 to 2016.
Positioned in the contemporary segment, the line of elegant but effortless items was aimed at women, 40 and beyond. Colors, fit and fabrics referenced the brand’s established style. Designs took commercial prerogatives into account. Leather goods were an integral part of the collection.
